Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash (except where required by law, like in states with cash-back mandates for small balances).

Product Care
Daddy always told me, “take care of yer’ sh*t and yer’ sh*t will take care of you.” Proper washing of your Yellaroot swag is essential to ensure that is stays in top condition for years to come. Proper care not only maintains their appearance but also extends their lifespan, saving you time, money, and even our environment. Just in case your momma’ didn’t raise you right, here’s a few tips to make sure you’re doing it right.
- The Basics: Wash separately in cold water on a delicate cycle. Turn garments inside out and close zippers.
- The Don’ts: No bleach. No fabric softeners (they clog the wicking pores). And for the love of dirt, do not iron. If you feel the need to iron your bike clothes, you should find a different hobby—like extreme labeling or recreational accounting.
- The Fix: We’ve found that using an enzyme spray (like OxiClean) before washing does a pretty good job of getting those post-ride convenience store snack stains out.

Line dry in a shaded area. Avoid tumble drying to protect synthetic fibers and printed elements.

Products are optimized for casual gravel and mountain biking, supporting all-day rides in varied conditions. They emphasize comfort, durability, and versatility for non-competitive use, including transitions to post-ride activities.
We select performance fabrics with recycled polyester and elastane blends. These offer UV protection, moisture wicking, antimicrobial properties, and breathability. Dye-sublimation printing employs water-based inks to minimize water usage.
Our initial lineup features long- and short-sleeve cycling shirts with pearl snaps, traditional western cuts, and functional pockets. Baggy yet slim-cut shorts provide performance-casual comfort inspired by rugged workwear. Accessories include trucker hats, patches, stickers, and lifestyle items.
Repairs
Our commitment extends beyond just creating quality products – it’s about ensuring that you get the most out of them too. We believe in durability, longevity, and sustainability, which is why we design our gear to withstand the rigors of your adventures and endure the test of time. Please note: we currently only offer repairs to folks in the US and Canada.

- For Minor Wear/Tear: We recommend supporting your local tailor or alterations shop! Most zippers, buttons, and small tears can be easily fixed locally, which gets you back on the bike faster than shipping it to us.
Coming Soon! We are committed to keeping gear on the trail and out of the landfill. However, as a small startup, we are still building out our repair infrastructure. We plan to launch a full mail-in repair service in the future.
Returns & our "Bonafide Guarantee"
We get that things don’t always go according to plan, and that’s why we’re here to make it a breeze for you. Whether you’re swapping out for a different size or color, or just returning something that didn’t quite hit the mark, we’ve got yer’ back. Our aim is to make sure you’re happy with every purchase, plain and simple.
- Exchanges: We cover the shipping! If you need a different size or store credit, return shipping is free.
- Refunds: If you prefer a cash refund, the cost of the return shipping label will be deducted from your refund amount.
Yes. Unlike clearance items, our Launch/Pre-Order items are fully eligible for returns and exchanges, even with the discount. We want you to love your gear.

Shipping
We’re a small team but, we try our best to ship orders promptly, typically within 2 business days. Please note that this timeframe excludes weekends (we’re out ridin’). Somethings we just can’t control– weather, sun spots, mercury in retrograde, frogs, locusts, or other events in your area might cause some delays in the shipping process but, we’ll do our best to get your stuff to you as quickly as possible.
- Standard Ground: Flat rate starting at $5 (calculated at checkout based on location).
- Free Shipping: Applies to all orders over $100.
- Delivery Time: Typically 3-7 business days after processing.
A tracking number and link are provided via email once the order ships.
Some things we just can’t control—weather, sun spots, mercury in retrograde, frogs, locusts, or other events in your area. If your tracking hasn’t budged in 3 business days, [give us a shout] and we’ll get to the bottom of it.
Once a package is marked “Delivered” by the carrier, Yellaroot is not liable for lost or stolen items. To protect your gear, we offer Route Package Protection at checkout. We highly recommend adding this to your order to fully insure your shipment against loss, theft, or damage. If you purchased Route, you can file a claim directly through their app for a quick resolution.

Sizing
Bean poles to biggin’s…we try to have a size for everyone. But, we’re all put together a little different. We embrace bodies of all shapes and sizes, understanding that true style is about confidence and self-expression, not arbitrary numbers on a tag.
Initial sizes are unisex, with plans for dedicated male and female fits. Detailed charts on product pages provide measurements for chest, waist, hips, and inseam to ensure accurate selection.

No sweat! Unworn items with original tags qualify for a return or exchange within 30 days of receipt. Even better: we cover the return shipping cost if you are exchanging for a different size to make sure you get the perfect fit.

Trade-In Program
One rider’s dust-covered jersey is another rider’s treasure. Don’t let your old gear rot in the closet—trade it in, earn some credit, and keep the cycle going. It’s good for your wallet and even better for the dirt we ride on.
Use the online condition quiz for estimation. Contact support for a form, submit details/photos, and ship approved items (at your expense).
Based on condition: Excellent ($40–$50), Good ($20–$40), Fair ($10–$20).
This program allows exchange of gently used Yellaroot garments for store credit, promoting sustainability by extending product life and reducing waste.
Authentic Yellaroot garments in resellable condition. Excludes accessories or heavily damaged items.
Warranties
We do our best to make products we can hang our hats on, and we proudly stand behind the quality of all our work. In the rare instance that you receive a Yellaroot product with a manufacturing or production defect, rest assured, we’ve got you covered for one (1) year from the date of purchase.
Provide proof of purchase and clear photos of the issue through our contact form. Claims are reviewed promptly.
Damage from crashes (the “scars of adventure”), normal wear and tear, misuse, or improper care are not covered.
We stand by our gear with a 1-Year Workmanship Guarantee. This covers defects in materials and workmanship (like snaps, zippers, or stitching) for one year from the original purchase date.
